Welcome to South Oakleigh Bowling Club |
|
South Oakleigh Bowling Club (SOBC) is situated conveniently on North Rd, South Oakleigh and welcomes new and experienced bowlers. With a new Tifdwarf green currently under construction and a well maintained synthetic green, Affiliated Members will have the best of both worlds.
The Club plays Bowls Victoria Pennant on Saturday from October to March, fielding Teams in Divisions 2 and 3. Night Pennant is also held weekly on a Tuesday Night, under lights, between November and April. An organized Winter Season of Saturday Mufti Bowls and Social Bowls every Thursday and Sunday rounds out the year.
The cost of Affiliated Membership at SOBC is $100 per year, with NO JOINING FEE.
Social Membership is available for $25 per year, and we guarantee you won’t find a better, friendlier Sports Bar in the area. The fully Licensed Bar is open Monday - Friday from 4pm. At weekends the Clubhouse opens each afternoon, earlier if there is an event on. There is a big screen TV to watch all the major sporting events while in a friendly and open environment. |
